Our partnership in the gospel with Hurstpierpoint Evangelical Church has been a source of real encouragement and blessing for us at Cuckfield Baptist Church.

A few years ago we became aware of the needs of the Hurstpierpoint church some 6 miles away from Cuckfield.

Following a period of prayer, consultation and a three-month trial, CBC, together with Haywards Heath Evangelical Free Church, offered to formally help the church at Hurstpierpoint. Central to this was that each church would set apart an elder to provide on-the-ground leadership and ministry.  This offer of help was warmly received and in the summer of 2004 Chris and Anna Bulled and their family moved to Hurstpierpoint.

In 2008 the church at Hurstpierpoint reconstituted themselves and committed together to continue serving Christ in the village.  As a fellowship it is our privilege at Cuckfield to follow the work closely in prayer and to continue our financial support. We bless God for our brothers and sisters there and pray that God would continue to use them for his glory in the village.
