Bob Bannister is married to Sally and they have 3 children - Bethany, Joshua & Isaac. As a family they moved to Cuckfield in 1995. Rob was appointed as an Elder in 1999.

Jonathan Broome is married to Rachel and they have two children - Annabel & Hugo. As a family they moved to Cuckfield in 2002. Jonathan was appointed as an Elder in 2005.

PREVIOUS ELDERS

Chris Bulled joined the eldership in 2001 and was then set aside to help lead a replanting work at Hurstpierpoint Evangelical Church in 2004. Chris and Anna with their 4 children then moved to the village of Hurstpierpoint. In 2006 Chris and Anna’s youngest child Evelyn sadly died of leukaemia. In September 2008 Chris stood down from the eldership at Cuckfield to focus his leadership responsibilities at Hurstpierpoint following the reconstitution of the Church.

Phil Crowter joined the eldership in September 2007 following a 13 year pastorate in Streatham. After Phil, Rosie, Anna, Luke & Russell settled into their new home, Phil was diagnosed with cancer. Phil’s desire was that the Lord would use his illness for his glory, which he truly did. God used Phil amongst us in circumstances we never imagined would come about. He was called to glory on the 28th November 2008.
